USA021 - Cuprite on Copper - Copper Queen Mine, Queen Hill, Bisbee, Warren District, Mule Mts, Cochise Co., Arizona

Classic specimen of dull, brownish red cuprite crystals on crudely crystallized native copper. The cuprite crystals measure to just over 5 mm. Fine cuprite specimens from Bisbee are difficult to find today. The accompanying Larry Conklin label has his handwritten price of $1,000 on the reverse. 11.3 x 6.7 x 4.7 cm.
