EMR-G185 - Smithsonite - Vieille Montagne (Altenberg; Kelmisberg), Moresnet, Kelmis, Plombières-Vieille Montagne (Plombières-Altenberg) District, Verviers, Liège Province, Belgium

From my personal collection, this is a superb light yellow smithsonite from a relatively rare classic locality. Altenberg was once briefly part of Rhenish Prussia in the 19th century. The specimen is undamaged and was once in the collections of Amherst College and Bernard Stürtz.
