EMR-G145 - Proustite - Shaft 371, Schlema-Hartenstein District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany

Attractive, large miniature specimen of bright, deep red proustite from this classic German mining district. The proustite crystals in the central grouping measure to 4 mm and have superb color and translucency. The more crudely crystalized proustite also is quite translucent with great color when backlit.
