Old specimen of epidote and diopside with dark green crystals to 1.9 cm. Comes with two old labels - a printed one from the Scharff collection (probably late 1800's) and a fragile handwritten one which appears to date the specimen to 1837. The main crystals are undamaged; the periphery has incomplete and broken crystals where the specimen was extracted. 6.3 x 3.4 x 3.1 cm.
