Cut Stone Faceted by Brad Lewis; Fluorescent

Well-matched rough and cut set of fluorite from this classic New England locality. The fluorite specimen, which measures 7.6 x 5.0 x 4.7 cm, features a 3.0 cm, light green, translucent octahedral crystal. It is of top quality for the locality. The cut stone, faceted by Brad Lewis in a custom cut, weighs 62.22 carats. The cutting is impeccable, with sharp facet joins, and the stone is of top color and clarity. Both stone and specimen are fluorescent. Photograph by Joe Budd.
